- Open JPMate and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open the account menu from your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Profile Settings, then Delete Account.

Your access and active sessions are revoked immediately. Account deletion cannot be undone.
2.Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your JPMate account. Use the subject Delete my JPMate account and include the account email address in your request.
We may ask you to verify that you control the account before processing the request.
3.Data deleted with your account
Deleting your account removes the personal data associated with it, including:
- account and profile information;
- conversations, messages, saved answers, and saved letters;
- emergency profile information, safety contacts, and Safety Check-in history;
- notification preferences, device tokens, usage records, and public sharing links;
- your JPMate subscription entitlement record and avatar, if present.
Mail Decoder photos are not stored after processing, so there is no retained photo to delete.
4.Data that may be retained
Associated personal data is deleted within 30 days. We may retain limited transaction, security, or audit records for longer where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Answer feedback may remain only in anonymized form, without a link to your account. Diagnostic and crash logs may be retained for up to 90 days.
Apple and Google independently retain purchase records under their own policies.
5.Delete individual data without deleting your account
You can edit or remove profile details, saved answers and letters, emergency contacts, and Safety Check-in records in JPMate without deleting your account. You may also email privacy@jpmate.app to request deletion of specific personal data.
6.Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your JPMate account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your device's app-store account settings to stop future renewals.
For more information, read the JPMate Privacy Policy.
